Problem! Page headings for menu's and pages

The page headings are being displayed incorrectly!
When I click on a link in the menuâ–“s that was created by x-cart I get this in the heading of the window.
Company Name::~~~~ lbl_help_zone~~~~::Current Page - Microsoft Internet Explorer or something to that effect. Why is this happening? Is there a work around for this. I noticed that the direct links that I have added do not display this way. They are fine. It is only the links on the menu's that were create by x-cart. Looks like it is displaying the label names instead of the page name. Help please this does not look good.

Thanks in advance

This can be caused by permanently enabled Webmaster mode. Your shop is currently closed and I cannot see this error. If you unclose the shop I'll try to help you.

Check your General settings, section Miscellaneous
is the option 'Enable debugging console:' disabled?
Moreover, try to clear templates cache.

Moving this to Template Editing, as it is not a bug in a fresh install or the demo version of X-Cart.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Is this only happening to me?

Hi,

I remember this beeing a bug in earlier versions of 4.1.x and had the same problem myself back then. You can solve it by this workaround:

Open you admin backend and go to: General Settings > SEO options

Then look at the last setting called " Maximum length of page title element (set to 0 or empty if not applicable):"

Put in a 0 as value and the problem should be gone.

0 would not work. I had to put something like 255 and it fixed it. Thanks for the repy.
