Have ContactUs form send cc to Customer
 

We'd like to enable our customers to get an email copy of any ContactUs form they complete.

Ideally, a checkbox (defaulted to yes) that would enable them to decide whether to have the cc sent.

Acceptable: simply automatically routing it both to us and to the customer.

Have scoured forum but evidently not with the right search terms to locate this answer, which I'm sure must have been asked before, and is probably easy to fix.

Why not set up an autoresponder for your incoming Contact Us emails that sends a "We have received your ...." email to the customer?

I suppose that would work, but I can't imagine there's not a more direct solution achievable with a little code work within x-cart. Thanks for the tip, though; if nothing else surfaces at least I'll have an option to pursue. And still, I hope someone out there happens to know right where to go to launch two emails simultaneously, one to us and one to the customer.

I've given up on "Contact Us" form all together. Instead, I use TTX Trouble Ticket Express (another Russian invention):

Much better functionality, and it's cheap (MySQL version). They also have a free version.
