Customer testimonial / feedback and simple survey at checkout?
 

Hi,
Does anyone know of any third party app that could be used with x-cart for customer testimonials / feedback and simple surveying of customers at checkout?

I'm really looking for something similar to this

which offers a survey at checkout and an optional email survey, but then in addition, a way of displaying the results and testimonials.

Does anyone know of such application? I'm struggling to find anything at the mo, and I can't work out what they've used on the above site.

MagneticOne almost finished a tool to satisfy all survey needs.
It will include survey builder and powerfull reporting module.

Optional email survey can be send using Follow-up Autoresponder by MagneticOne.

You may want to look at Survey Monkey. It has a share feature that appears to have the ability to create a link to the results (and the ability to link to 'filtered results'). It doesn't appear to be as robust in it's sharing capability as the software the ladder site is using, but it may be something you can get by with.

MagneticOne Survey Builder was released 2 months ago.
Right now it is already used by multiple websites

We used Survey Monkey as one of references to build better solution

Key advantages of MagneticOne Survey Builder:
1. Much more advanced integration with your store
2. No monthly fee
3. All necessary features (more than I can describe here)

I would definitely suggest that you compare the two solutions. I would agree that no monthly fee and better X-Cart integration are clear advantages to MagneticOne. However, there are certainly some advantages to SurveyMonkey (or other hosted solutions) as well - the most obvious being (in my experience) that SurveyMonkey offers many more types of questions. They all seem to work flawlessly and it's easy to make sense of the results.

MagneticOne was very responsive when I asked them to add a new type of question (grid/ranking). Even though their initial attempt wasn't perfect, I imagine they'd be likely to polish their software with feedback, if you've got the time and patience.

As to question types - our Survey Builder supports most(almost all) question types, we decided to avoid adding new control combinations as question types and leaved simple controls, that can be used to create more advanced question.

Exemple: their address control - 2 long inputs, 2 short ones and 1 dropdown(select)

Yes, we polish software ourselves, we use it extensively on own website and improve based on our experience and user input.
