Date Reminder functionality

Is there the functionality, or does anyone know of a mod which exists which will let my users keep a list of dates (birthday's, anniversaries etc.) for which they will be alerted to 10 days prior (or any # of days)?

Haven't found much on this topic in the forums so assistance much appreciated.
