invoice email template
Hi. I am having am issue trying to edit the email invoice template. Is this the file I should be editing /mail/html/order_invoice.tpl or this one /mail/order_invoice.tpl? Because I can't seem to get the email template to display correctly (I'm trying to change the background colour and text colour) Any help would be great thanks.

mail/html/order_invoice.tpl is the correct template. The formatting for the color defaults to the site colors when it is displayed inline, when it is e-mailed, it uses the CSS in the top of the template.

THanks, NOw is that template also used on the website version? Because I need to have to different colour version of the template, one to display on the website and one to be emailed. Basically a black and white version that is emailed to the person. Or how can I do this?

As I just said, the formatting for the template when it is e-mailed is in the CSS in the top of the template.

I will double check that out thanks. On the order confirmation page I need to remove the print invoice because it isn't working properly. What is the template name for this page? Thanks

Anyone know how to change the verbiage in the Google order confirmation email. I would like to place a note in the email they receive after they place an order to allow 10 to 15 minutes for Google to process their transaction.
I have many customers cancelling their order right away when they do not receive their download link right away due to Google taking sooo long to process orders. I just want the customers to know that it may take upto 10 minutes before they will receive their download link. Any ideas? |

You can edit the note for Google Transaction by simply going to Administration>Payment Methods You'll see options to edit notes along side the payment methods. Simply add a note that if Google Checkout is selected it will take about 15 minutes to process. I'm sure there are other ways but that's a quick fix. Another way is to add it to the checkout page just before the submit button. You know where it says "By pressing "SUBMIT" you agree to the "Terms and Conditions"" |

The problem with this is that google is not in the payment method page in the admin area.
