How do I change a button, for newsletter and in the cart.php??? HELP ME!!
 

Hello,

I want to change some buttons, for the newsletter and in the shopping cart. In shopping cart there are buttons like "Delete product *and a button*" I want to change all buttons here. How do I do that?

You can either change the button class (in skin1.css) or you can change the button itself by editing buttons/button.tpl

I have tried it but I still make a mess of it, I'm still not good with smarty, some little explaining on how to do it excaclty would be nice.

And I want a few buttons to be changed not all, if you change one button do they change all together? Or is it possible to change one button at the time?

Webmaster mode maybe easy?

Please explain?

Well, what exactly are you trying to achieve? Do you want to use images? Just change colors?

Unfortunately, by default all the buttons use the same template, so you would need to create duplicates of button.tpl and then change the code in each button location that you want different to point to the different button template.

I would like to change the following buttons:

- In the "Help zone - Over ons.." box the button to sign in for newsletter, I have a image button for that like this: --> http://www.multishopper.nl/skin1/images/arrow_109.gif (www.multishopper.nl/skin1/images/arrow_109.gif)

- the same button I want in the cart.php (place a product in the cart than you see what I mean) these are all the same large green button, I want this also all to be this button: http://www.multishopper.nl/skin1/images/arrow_109.gif all the same in the whole process of the checkout! With this button it looks nicer I think.

I don't think I can do this all, to change all the buttons, but to keep the button for the search, it's the same green button. I don't know that mutch about smarty and x-cart, yet.

Help would be apreciated.
