No files under customer directory....Please Help
 

Hi All,

I installed x-cart software for the first time and I am trying to customize the design (theme) as per my choice. It seems like everything works fine when I checked the test pages. To my surprise, I don't see any file under customer directory from where I should control the look and feel of the customer pages. Please let me know why the files aren't appearing....I checked the folder in my local system as well but no use. Even the local foder doesn't contain any of customer related files.

Anyone can help me out....

Check folder "yoursite/SKIN1".

Hi Yurji,

My doubt is cleared by your answer. I found all files under skin1 folder.

Is this the place where i should make changes to customize my own template?

Files in the skin1 folder are where you make the changes. The is a original copy of the file in the skin1_original folder.

Web master mode helps in locating the correct file to modify.

Yes there is the current design.
In "skin1_original" - a copy, if something stops working, you can restore from there.
