How to add an extra field in admin company options
 

I would like to add an extra field in the admin->general setting->company options template. I tried using webmaster mode but that didnt do it, and tried the configuration.php file. Maybe I'm just over looking some code, any help would be great.

The reason is to add an "about us" section that can be changed from the admin side, without having to actually edit any coding or templates. This is for the others that dont know coding, but are working on the site, can change this option.

Just create an embedded static page. They can use the built-in WYSIWYG editor.
