If something is out of stock - auto notofication when back in stock.
 

I was looking through the doccumentation and could not find for the life of me anything that looked like an addon or built in functionality that would automatically give the person the ability (if an item is out of stock) to be auto notified when that product is back in stock.

I saw that cart lab had a pre-order / backorder module.. anyone use this before? Would this do what I need it to do.

Essentially, I want it to be similar to a wishlist where a product is assocaited with a username and password.. then when quantity is not zero... they will be notified about the change through an e-mail and autolink.
