Looking for a news/articles mod
 

Hello all,

I have been looking for a news/articles mod to no avail. What I need is the ability to have entries behave very similarly to products- belong to multiple categories, cross-sell articles and products, review, send to friend, etc. Has anyone seen anything like this?

I am really surprised that X-Cart being so advanced does not recognize that these days content is kind and top SEO results come from active community, not just from a well organized store.

Remember, X-Cart is just that, a Cart. It is not meant to be a CMS. If it was, it would be twice as expensive :)

I am not a developer, so perhaps I am missing something: a quick fix is to add a "article" checkbox to the product page and if a product is in fact an article do not display the buy/wish list buttons. More of an interface issue than anything else. No?
