Featured Products add Stock option.

Hi, can someone tell me how to add inventory details to Featured Products. I've got the "Buy Now" option enabled and want them to be able to see that items are in stock before they click the button. I've tried taking the code from Products.tpl and putting it into Products_t.tpl but I must be missing something. I've been knocking my head against a wall so any help would be appreciated.

Paste the following code in a file "customer/main/products.tpl", where quantity of the goods should be displayed.
