Moving the Search Bar
 

So, i've been taking a lot of time going through all the posts and can't figure out how to move my search bar to the other side of the Header and then squish down the header so it doesn't take up so much space at the top of the page.

#1. How do you control the position of the search bar?

#2. How do you change the height of the header?

I am using X-Cart's Crystal Blue Skin, which pushes the search bar over to the right side of the header. If you need a link to my site let me know and i'd be happy to provide it.

Your best bet is to start here:

That will help you determine which template is which and how to work with templates. Once you determine which template the code is in that you want to edit, simply open it up in the template editor and adjust it how you would like. Much of the styling is controlled via your main CSS file.
