FAQ add-on
In my recent web travels I came across an add-on for X-cart which seemed like a nifty way to organize an FAQ section.
But now I cant find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It basically had a list of questions which expanded and contracted when you clicked on the links. Hope that makes sense. I think it was one of the major players who was offering it so I'm surprised I cant find it again. |

Re: FAQ add-on

HOWEVER -- your page will have TONS more SEO value than a database solution. The fact that your FAQ is all on one page, and all the keywords are available to the bot will ALWAYS be superior to a database solution. I would take your page and make it as informative and "link bait" as possible. YOU WANT people linking to your FAQ. |
Re: FAQ add-on
I think she's gone for the one page FAQ...

Re: FAQ add-on
Ahh... of course. That is the best FAQ solution.

Re: FAQ add-on
I'm going to use both actually. Since it's already done, I'll leave the html page on the server for SEO and the database mod as the active faq because it's nifty.

Re: FAQ add-on
Sharon, Be careful here -- duplicate content can bite your SEO efforts. Because of the x-cart internal linking, a static-embedded page with your FAQ is always effective. In my opinion, duplicate FAQ pages will only confuse the bot and the visitors. My $.02
