show thumbnail instead of detail image
 

Hi, i'm working a site where they only want 'text' where the thumbnail should be (aka. short description) which i've done fairly eaisly.. but where the detail image is, I need to put the small thumbnail there instead. Now it sounds easy.. but this is day 1.5 and i still cant figure it out? Any suggestions plz..

why don't you just use a thumbnail image for the detail image?

problem is that the site is being populated by a program that takes information from the companies wharehouse / inventory and fills it in. The designer of that app is long gone. I figured it was be as simple as a few smarty tags mabie a line or two.. ended up modifying the products.php which i would really like to restore so that we don't have any upgrade problems. Also future proofing, we're going to need the actual detail image as well.
