categories being cut off

hi

on http://www.sugarrays.co.uk we have the categories being listed on the left hand, some of them are being cut off and then displaying 3 dots.

does anyone know how i can get more characters appearing? i want to play around with the css and get the full name appearing if possible.

thanks

Re: categories being cut off

Look at the template that is calling those and look for a |truncate tag. Remove the | and the truncate code after it.

Hi

thanks, i found the code, is there a way i can decrease the number of characters being truncated? it looks like the truncation value is coming from the variable $fancy_categories_variable_truncate, do you know where i can find this variable and play around with value?

thanks

I'd guess in the fancy categories settings....I don't use that module so I don't know for sure.

$fancy_categories_variable_truncate

Hi

i am looking for the $fancy_categories_variable_truncate variable, i want to be able to increase the amount of characters that are being pulled in my categories list. see www.sugarrays.co.uk, my categories are listed in the left hand column, some categories are being cut off whilst there is space for more text.

i think i need to increase the $fancy_categories_variable_truncate varaible- is this correct?

does anyone know how i can do this?

any help would be useful.

thanks
