Upgrade from 3.2.1 to curent?
 

I am wondering if the upgrade from 3.2.1 to the current version of xcart will be a nightmare. I have read so many different things in the forum. Some yes some say no.

I think i will probably just pay x-cart to do the upgrade. Wondering if anyone thinks that the x-cart team will have any problems with this big leap? or if they can do it seemlessly. I have tried a number of times asking them and i haven't gotten a reply yet. Reason im asking here: before i ask them to do it for us.

If you really need to upgrade then a fresh install would probably be your safest bet.

Do this in a new folder and port the look of the old site over.

upgrading a copy of your database is not such a problem

If in doubt though first ask, do I need to do it and then get a pro to do it.
