Create an Order from Admin
 

I recently switched to X-Cart from LiteCommerce. With the LC AOM, I was able to create orders manually. I could populate the customer info (create new or find existing), add the products, and set the status to Queued or Processed. I would send the customer a PayPal invoice and then complete the order when it was paid. I grew dependent on this, since sometimes users can't or don't want to place the order and sometimes I have customers that want to buy in person (i have no physical store).

I'm looking for the best add-on to accomplish this task (preferably for a decent price). Any suggestions? I would like it to pull from inventory just as it would if I was placing the order as a customer from the front-end.

Thanks - I saw this, but don't need POS and didn't know if there was a cheaper alternative. I would like to be able to split orders, but it's most important for me to be able to create new orders.

POS is misleading as it works as an admin tool as well, but this is the only way I know of to create orders in the admin.

I used the POS mod for about 3-4 months but found it had a few things that buggd me so I now just run through the website as a 'customer' and get the order in that way....all the better if they already have an account because you can log in as them through the "user" section of the backend and you won't need to get any shipping/billing details other than payment..

outmotoring - you are the BEST!!! I had NO idea the feature existed - "Operate as this user" I think that will work for me, but how do I complete the order without paying? And then invoice the user? Thanks again!!!

To submit the order without paying, create a Purchase Order payment method. You can make it available to all customers, or only to those with a certain membership type.
