I agree- truthfully I think the nav is fine as is but its a client thing. They want to have a menu that expands and collapse as more products are added. - which at the rate they work will probably be never.

I looked at one in the link you sent and it may work and will certainly try to get the client to go that way but my fear with that particular one is the subcategory slides out then down. Given what the site looks like one wherer the subcategories just opened up straight down and didn't slide out would probably be a better solution
