Multiline Clipboard (HTML).

Hi,

In my html editor I have what is called a "Multiline Clipboard."
You insert any type code on a line in the clipboard and afterwards you place your curser where you want that code to be inserted and click the appropriate code line and it is inserted in the page┘thereby eliminating re-typing the same code over and over.

Maybe it should be obvious to me as how to achieve this in X-Cart's WYSIWYG editor but I cannot see how.

We have over a thousand products and the code will be the same for each item.

Anyone have this solution?

Try pressing Ctrl + V on your clipboard to paste after placing your cursor.

I feel a little STUPID!

Ten minutes after I made the post I realized what I needed to do BUT forgot to remove the post.

It took you 10 whole minutes to figure it out! ... just joking ;)

We all have our moments and I do have several clients who are not at all familiar with keyboard short cuts and need to have the clickable icons :)

I am 75 years old and have 15 websites that I constructed and keep updated.

This is my first try with X-Cart and it has been quite a learning experience especially trying to edit the smarty templates and the overall new experience with X-Cart has been a little overwhelming but I'm slowly learning the X-Cart way.
