How Do I Enable "See Details" Link Under The Thumbnail?
 

HI,

On the category page I have the "Buy Now" button enabled for each product thumbnail.

I would like to disable the "Buy Now" button and have the "See Details" link active under each product thumbnail.

I can easily disable the "Buy Now" button but not sure how to enable the "See Details" link.

You would need to code the 'see details' link in the template, Just copy the link for the product title, and set the text to 'see details'.

I need the "See Details" link under every thumbnail.

I guess I am not understanding you. Each "See Details" link would lead to the product page of each thumbnail.

Yes, so you would need to add the code to the template. Are you displaying a single product per row or multiple products?

We are displaying 5 products per row and we have 5 columns per page with 10 rows per page = 50 products per page.

Ok, so open up customer/main/products_t.tpl. You'll see the code for the thumbnail, pricing, buy now, etc. Add a new line where you want the 'see details' to show and simply copy the link used on the product title, and change the text to read 'see details'.

You can turn the buy now button off in General Settings/Appearance Options.
