Slow Add To Cart
 

Version 4.1.8

I have started experiencing a very slow add to cart.

When a user adds an item to their cart it now takes 10-20 seconds for the cart page to start loading.

I recently changed some of my sub category structure so now I have a few more categories and sub catagories but not many

Number of products= 359
Number of root categories= 28
Number of subcategories= 51

What could be causing this long delay? The rest of my site runs quite fast.

Has anybody else experienced something like this? If so how did you fix it?

Try reparing/clearing your stats table and/or turning stats off.

Thanks Padraic,

I have always had advanced stats off.

The only stats tables that had data were Adaptive and Search and they had less than 2000 rows so I don't think they were the issue.

As a side note how can I turn off stats collecting for the adaptive table. I don't need xcart gathering that data as I use Google Analytics.
