listing subcatagories on the left side?
 

Hi,
Is there a simple way to list the subcatagories under the catagories on the left hand side? I think I have to edit catagories template I guess. As you can tell I'm still kind of new to this.

Simple answer is that there isn't a simple way to do this.

The subcategories available to the pages within xcart are only those that are childs to the current page.

It is possible though as have built this into a drop down menu system today on a 3.4.2 version site.

How would this drop-menu be done?

Ok, so there is no easy way to do it. I'm willing to work for it.
Whats the hard way? Where do I start? What would I look for? What do I basically need to do?
