Subscriptions
It appears that when you setup an item as a subscription item in x-cart it shows 2 amounts to the visitors that can be confusing. Let's say the item is $49.95 per year. It shows $49.95 setup fee + $49.95 annually. This looks to the customers like they are going to be charged $99.90 for the first payment. I do not have a setup fee and would like it to not show that first line. The second line that says $49.95 annually is more than sufficient. Is there a way to turn this off, alter it or doing something that will not be so misleading to my customers? Am I not entering something properly in the subscription setup section? Thanks in advance for any help.

maybe change the "anualy" text to "first year"

The annually text is good it is the setup fee part that is throwing them off. Where do I find the setup fee text at? I have tried looking somewhat through the languages section but have not found it yet (there sure is alot of darn stuff in there). Thanks for the reply.

Can someone tell me where to find this text to change it. I found subscriptions_info.tpl but when I changed values there it made no change to the store. Pretty please

Ok...if anyone has this problem in the future:
/modules/Subscriptions/subscription_info_inlist.tpl You can remove the whole price section that has setup fee and just leave the subscription price. |
