Use Mailing List on other websites..

Is there any way to utilize the mailing list outside of x-cart for example on myspace or another domain I may own. If so please HELP!

You can export the newsletter list and use it however you like.

I'm looking to do the same thing. I'm very new to x-cart and haven't had a chance to "read" all of the php code yet, but from the little I did, I'm guessing that it should be possible. If I figure it out before someone responds I'll post , but it sure would save me some time if someone knew the answer...

I found some code that seems to work. Link is:

<form action="news.php" name="subscribeform" method="post"><input type="hidden" name="subscribe_lng" value="{$store_language}" /><input type="text" name="newsemail" size="19" /><a href="javascript: document.subscribeform.submit();" js_to_href="Y">Subscribe</a></form>

Re: Use Mailing List on other websites..

Anyway, the code I found and posted in this thread works fine. I'd like to take it a step forward. What I am trying to acomplish is the following:

Customer has site "A". I'm building site "B" with x-cart which will replace site "A" when completed . I want visitors to site "A" to not see the store under construction, so I'd like to "hack" into news.php to temporarily redirect back to the page on Site "A" right after the database is updated instead of getting the x-cart page that the email is registered. Anyone know which .php file and location I need to work with?

Thanks!
