Remove the COUNTY dropdown box ?
 

Hi,
I need to get rid of the county selector dropdown box.
I need the users to be able to enter their own county.

I can't see an option in admin to change this.

Can anyone help?!

hi, we want the Country selector to stay, but the County to go.

Can this be easily done?

Also, how can i restrict the country options during the customer account signup?
I have specifed the allowed contires in the shipping methods section, but the full list is still visible during account registration.

1. Disable unnecessary countries on the 'Management -> Countries' page.
2. Disable 'Use counties' option on the 'Administration -> General settings -> General options' page.

hi,
thanks for your reply. I have removed all the states, but now the state area is simply blocked. During account creation it says something like "no states available fro this destination".

We need the customer to be able to enter their own state, rather than select it from the dropdown box.

How do i do this?
