Layout Problem

Hey everyone, I'm a newb so please forgive me if this is really stupid.

Right now my xcart install is at http://smartmarkvideo.com/shop/home.php (though that will change once I'm done getting it ready for business)

First I'd like to remove the space in the upper left hand corner. It should look like this:
http://www.smartmarkvideo.com/example.html

Is this possible?

Second I'd like to move the search bar into the new bar between our logo and the image on the right (in the space between the two). Then after I'm done that, I'd like to remove the old search bar completely. Is this possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm new at all of this so please forgive me!

Thanks,
Adam

That thread won't give you step by step instructions for your particular case, but it will give you guidance on which template you want to edit.

Right, I'm pretty sure what ones I have to edit, and I've actually got everyone but the header fixed. I just can't for the life of me get the header to not have that space in it: http://smartmarkvideo.com/shop/home.php

I try putting:
Code:

leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"

Into several places but it doesn't seem to do anything :?

Sorry, hope I'm making sense here! :oops:

A PC friend said that it looks fine, however when looking at the site under firefox and Safari this is how it looks for me:

Does the HeadLogo class in your css file have any cellpadding? If so, change it to 0 and see if that makes a difference.
