Welcome to <lbl_site_title>
 

I have searched the forums and haven't been able to find an answer that helps me. I am sort of learning this as I go. I'm not entirely sure what version of XCart I have except that it is Gold and that I got it in the summer.

Basically on my home page at the moment it says
Welcome to <lbl_site_title>

Now I have been in the location.tpl file like I read in the other posts but I could not see anything about that. Is there anyway to get it to call the company name that I have set in the admin or do I have to hard code the name in?

Have you made any modifications to the templates? And do you have a url we can see?

Actually for some very strange reason, now its working and I didn't change a thing.

Sorry to jack this thread, but I have the same problem

I edited out the powered by xcart on the bottom in the skin1/main/prnotice.tpl file by deleting the code below the notation of "if you are selling xcart..."

now its stuck like that, it says Welcome to <lbl_site_title> even though I restored the prnotice.tpl

My bad I searched for <lbl_site_title> it came up with this thread and now I see that it is for the wrong version. Im on 4.2.1. I'll post in the correct area if you want.

I think you should include the version of your x-cart in your signature before Balinor tags you :)
