How do I get my news box back?
 

Back in the days when I was first editing the templates I decided to remove the news section, and foolishly I can't remember how I did it.

I've looked in the home.tpl and it's not commented out there. Any ideas as to where else I should be looking?

Open up customer/home.tpl from your skin1_original directory. Copy the code to your live template.

Also, can you please update your signature with your EXACT X-Cart version? Thanks!

So I copied in the code from skin1_original/customer/home.tpl to skin1/customer/home.tpl but it didn't make any difference....

Do you have the module turned on in 'Modules' and a news article posted?

Now it's working. I had the module active, but I thought it was supposed to say something like "no news available." Anyway, the new section is back. Thanks!!
