Anyone know if EZrecommends works on 4.1.8 Gold?
 

Hello,

i found this module http://www.websitecm.com/x-cart-mods/ezrecommends.html which seems to be for 4.0.x version of x-cart. I am wondering if anyone out there knows if it will work on latest 4.1.8 gold?

I have also contacted their support team to ask.. but just in case anyone on these forums has used it, or knows, i could maybe get a faster reply :)

I updated your support ticket - no sorry it is not yet 4.1.x compatible.

i received your ticket :) thanks... it's really too bad... i really needed this... but i have purchased it for 4.0.x, so i will install it on there, just to see how it works, and perhaps if it is what we want, we'll switch to 4.0.x version (new cart, so nothing configured yet).

Have you considered EZ-Upsell? It's "related" to eZrecommends (cousin ?), but instead of upselling at checkout, it upsells at "add to cart". To me a "softer" upsell, and usually more relevant. By the time a customer decides to checkout, in my opinion, the primary upsell opportunity has passed. I think ez-upsell is one of Jon's "must have" mods. It's 4.1 savvy. I gave it 5 stars!
