Question about Product Variants
I have a product that I would like to use the product variant feature of x-cart on, BUT i have run into a problem. Lets say i have a product called SHIRT. If i choose a Large shirt in Black, i want the pricing for 100 pieces to be a little more expensive than a Large shirt in White. Is this type of adjustability built into the current x-cart product variants feature? If not, are there any other options i can explore? Thank you for any help.

Re: Question about Product Variants
its built in, go to the variants and look for the price modifier

Re: Question about Product Variants
that doesnt really answer my question. The price modifier lets me add more price to an item but it doesnt let me do it based off other options. Like if i choose a option color black, then choose size small. i want it to be 10 bucks more. If i choose color white and then choose size small, i dont want it to add the 10 bucks.

go to your product in admin, click on product options at the top see attached screenshot give it a name of color In option group type you choose price modifier then in the option list you would enter white black +10.00 Your option of size would be only a product varient (not price modifier) So any time someone choose the black shirt, any size it will be 10 more than the white shirts. The second attachment - you see how I have a product with two different varients, but only one is a price modifier. Sassy |
