Hyphen in SKU for options
 

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody knows how to insert a hyphen between the main sku and the product option id. For example, now a product will display as 123451, with 1 being the option id. I would like it to display as 12345-1 in all locations that the sku appears (admin product list, orders, etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which option/variant are you using? If you're setting up your products with "options group type" set as "product variant", once you've created the option group, you can click on the product variant link and edit your individual SKU's...

IIRC, I've also added a hyphen at the end of the SKU when setting up a new product, and when I generate options, it automagically adds the option ID after that... but it's been a while.
