How to send the News Letters
 

Hi,

I am using X-cart version 4.1.3. Some people are subscirbed for news letter option. Now i want to send the news letters for those who subscribed. I don't know much PHP so, Can anyone tell me the procedure for that. Thanks in advance.

How do I send a new letter out to people that register and make an account on my site I want to send 1 news letter to everyone that has an account on my site(exe. just saying we have new products or here is a discount code ) ....... i know there is 3rd partys that do this but I first want to try to send it from xcart (www.yoursite.com/admin) thanks.

That is actually not something you are SUPPOSED to do - customers need to opt in to a newsletter - if you start blanket e-mailing your registered customers, you'll quickly find that you don't get anyone to shop with you anymore :) Just use the built-in newsletter module to add a sign-up box to your site - if they want to receive your newsletter, they will check the box when they register.
