Some questions, bugs and ideas
 

Love your mod, just bought and installed it!

Some questions:
∙ Is there a way to have 3 images displayed side-by-side instead of 2?
∙ And is it possible to display the description that you can submit with each image underneath the thumbnails?
∙ How can you change the size of the thumbnails?

Some bugs:
∙ When no image has been submitted to a subcategory, the subcategory's name is display twice and underneath eachother ...
∙ When you have add an image for the subcategory's name, it is stretched when it is smaller than the display width (which is 100 pixels) ...
∙ I added a fourth subcategory and that is not showing; are only 3 subcategories possible? ...
∙ It seems that if you disable a root category this doesn't work; it is still displayed ... maybe a the case when there are subcategories in it? ...

Some ideas:
∙ The quick jump menu shows all categories; better would be to only show the main categories and when you have entered one of them, then the subcategories in it.
Now you get a difficult to oversee list like this:

MainCategory2/SubCategory1
MainCategory2/SubCategory2
MainCategory2/SubCategory3
MainCategory2
MainCategory3/SubCategory1
MainCategory3/SubCategory2
MainCategory3

∙ It would be nice to be able to add an order position to images as well; now you can only do this with categories.

You can display more than 3 images side-by-side

at the moment thumbnails only display the category name

∙ How can you change the size of the thumbnails?

under general settings, image gallery options

Bugs:
∙ When you have add an image for the subcategory's name, it is stretched when it is smaller than the display width (which is 100 pixels) ...

make sure the minimum images size is the size that you will use, if not it will stech it.

I will be looking at the other bugs and get back with you.

But how to do this? I'm kind of lost ... checked all the files but can't figure it out.

In the Admin side, under Management Menu got to Gallery Manager

for Thumbnail view, create a main category like "photo gallery" the create subcategories

when creating the subcategories, add a picture and that is the picture that it will show up like

Make sure you make the subcategory a child under the main category like ⌠photo gallery■ by default it will get under root.

For the gallery options like size and lightbox effect

Go to general settings,
Image gallery options

You can change thumbnail height, width, chose from list view or List,Dropdown

And you can turn the Lighbox effect on and off

Thanks for explaining, but what I specifically mean is multiple columns within the category (http://gatorwraps.com/gallery.php?gallery_cat=2); so more than 2 images in the category beside eachother, I only have 2 columns and the gatorwraps site appearanlty has 4.
