Pre-selected Country on Register Form
 

Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to somehow (without modification of the tpl files) have no country pre-selected on the Customer registration form.
I would also like to know how it is determined which country is pre-selected.

can anyone help me?

its taken from the admin section in general settings

as for having no country pre-selected, it will require a modification to the tpl or the db, you basically add <option selected="selected" and value=""></option> to the select input
