Change detailed image on mouseover
 

Someone has asked me if this is a mod or something someone did custom:

When you mouseover the text and/or image under the detailed image, the detailed image swaps. I looked at the source and looks like Dreamweaver code to me.

Anyone know if this is actually a mod or did they just add the code into the template in Xcart.

Also, Ive been asked to modify a skin for XCart, anyone have a good tips and tricks manual, or how the layout actually works. Ive done alot of Litecommerce skins and they are a bit different than the XCart ones and I dont want to have to do it all through the admin panel.

Thanks, its been 4 years or so since I looked at XCart since Ive been mostly using Litecommerce and XCart sure has changed alot.

Maybe its just me but it seems to have alot of control now which is good but would seem confusing to someone who didnt have any coding knowledge. Someone trying to set it up themselves (newbie) could get lost in just the settings.

I would like to see how also to have the product detail image have a on mouserollover affect.

I dont think thats XCart but same concept.

I searched the forums here but cant find anything. I have a Litecommerce license so most of my access is to litecommerce forums here and the few XCart ones that are shared between the 2 programs. I cant get into the XCart specific ones.

I'm sure I saw it on the forums ... as i did implement it as a test ... and i've since dumped the test site too :(

Ive found that in XCart you can add product variants to products and seperate images for each variant. Then when you choose the different options from the drop down menu the image will change to whatever image you specified in the product variants.

Since this ability is already coded in to change the main product image based on product variants Im sure it wouldnt be to tough to edit, I just dont know how.
