I want to put some text into the top of the page where you would normally put your banner.

Can somebody please tell me how to do this as i have tried many things but cant get it to work. Instead of a banner i just want it to say my shops name.

Moving to Template Editing. Have you had a look at the template editing guide? Best place to start to learn how these things work :)
