Replace Artistic Tune logo/banner with mine
 

Hello All

I'm a newbie and really need some help. I have the lastest xcart gold version. I have scanned the forum but the terminology is a little confusing at this stage so it this has already been asked and answered I apologies.

I want to replace the artistic tune banner that the package came with, with my own banner end to end. Where can I do this - is there a particular size the banner needs to be?:oops:

Thanks for quick response.
This was one that I did read and try to understand. I thought that:
(rectangle_top.tpl - this controls the overall width and height of your layout. By default, it is set to 100% high and 100% width. You can set it to a fixed width (like 900px) or a percentage. Keep in mind that this is a shared template between the admin and customer sides, so you might want to put in an {if} statement to show something different for each side.) was the area but I did not understand what size I should have my banner in as it suggests % where as when I look at my banner it is in pix. My work in progress website is www.topshelfman/xcart if you like to look at how it looks - too big and not end to end.

Well you can't size a graphic in percentage ,as it will stretch it and make it look crappy. So you will need to set your site to a fixed width if you have a fixed width graphic.

Hi

I must not be explaining myself clearly. I am able to re-size my banner to a certain extent, I think I just need to know what the current banner size specs are on the artistic one and which template file to find it on, so then I can change my graphic image to the same specs as what the artistic tunes is.

Maybe that's a little clearer?

You need to keep reading that thread I pointed you to. It explains how to use Webmaster Mode to find which template is which. You can also right click on the banner image and it will tell you what the file name is. I don't know the Artistic Tunes skin so that is about all I can tell you :(
