MagneticOne XML Sitemap and Advanced SEO

Hi everyone

Jus few days ago I've bought from MagneticOne 2 products:
1 - XML Sitemap for Google, Yahoo....
2 - Advanced SEO.

Before someone of you decide to buy something there - just read this carefully:

Advantages of MagneticOne - relatively low prices

Major problem - poor, definetely bad support.

About XML Sitemap - great idea, it's working out, but has a problem. It takes to xml sitemap all the products form x-cart, even those which are out of stock.
So it generates a plenty of URLs but it is not "healthy" for your SEO purposes, in case you've decided to no to show on storefront "Out of stock" products.

MO offers support for this issue by sending patched files (but quality off supp is low, remember that).

2 - Adv SEO - major problem for x-cart 4.1.5+ users (I've experienced it with 4.1.7) - all the links handled normally by JS are dead (including Add to cart, Add to Whish List, Fancy Cat module...)

So, before you'll buy at MagneticOne - just try to reach them via live-chat (for ex.) and ask for improvements they've made... (they will probably try to convince you, that everything is fine )

Witold

MagneticOne working hard on solving this problem, here is what was done:

0. Improving quality/flexibility/ease-of-use of our products to minimize potential problems
(this is our preferred method)

1. Installed and using great online support app, much better request tracking now.
2. Created online knowledgebase to provide customers quick online reference with typical common problems solved (support.magneticone.com)
3. Introduced public support forum system (forum.magneticone.com)

If you would like to suggest better methods - we are open to your suggestions and complaints - they greatly help us to improve

One more important thing
Low prices is not primary MagneticOne advantage :)

XML Sitemap from MagneticOne is working perfectly on our web site and it is working perfectly with CDSEO! We are getting better indexed and ranking in Google. It is one of the best investments we’ve made!

Yes, we've already implemented both solution (CDSEO and MO XML Sitemap). They give really good improvement. In case you need some other advice - let me know.

What remains the same... poor support of MO. :)
If I could advice smthn - websitecm and bcse - in terms of "being helpful" for customers - in my opinion they're the best.

I wouldn't say poor support from Magneticone and I don't mean to disrespect you Witold:-) but they have provided us with extremely fast service in the past few months and they have put in a lot of efforts every time to make sure everything works well for us. They have spent the hours needed to make sure that we are satisfied and have not charged us a cent! even with the extra requests added to make life better for us, now if that is not service, I don't know what is....:-)

Hah.... that's perhaps MO had a deal with me before... Lucky you!
If MO was fixing something - that means the software was bad (whatever means bad - not tested, not fixed, anything).
Good software doesn't need to be fixed, it simply works the way you expect :-)
I've got upset on MO, because I was even calling them... thanks God, I speak ukrainian.

Microsoft has plenty of bugs and even Linux that▓s why we all get infected by viruses, it▓s really the service that makes the software what it is. We buy service from Qualiteam not x-cart itself, they use x-cart to sell us service. Well if it was you that blessed Magneticone for providing us with kind service, than we thank you for it:P but really they have been very good, cheers :-)

That's why we do use Macs. :)

Which is not actually true... qualiteam is registered in Cyprus, but company itself is based in Russia, Ulianovsk, and makes good job (including support - which is perfect).
