Where to edit Right Border
 

Rank Amature need help finding out where to actually edit the text for the right border for the cart. Using version 4.0 https://www.midnightjewels.com/mjshop/home.php - I need to create a link on the image for xramp at the right border near the bottom.

I have updated the signature. I had already read through the links you suggested numerous times. I've been trying to figure this out for the past three weeks. In all honesty, I told the webiste owner when I took it over I know nothing of php -- which I realise is a problem, but he told me that the program was extremely easy to use. I'm not finding it all that easy for what I have to do, but I'm managing. So far I've been able to manage everything, I just have no clue what file the template was calling up for that section or where it's located. If I did, I could edit it and get the necessary information in that spot.

Do you know how to use webmaster mode?

Your goal is to

1. use webmaster mode to determine which template to edit.
2. edit the template

so, 1. turn on webmaster mode;
2. click on "open customer page in a new window" link
3. hover over the pop-up window links -- notice how the customer page sections "highlight" as you hover...
4. This should clearly tell you which template is in use.

Then -- edit this template.

My guess is the template you will be editing is /skin1/customer/home.tpl -- but only you will know for sure by using webmaster mode. Webmater mode is well documented. Good luck.

carpeperdiem: That worked perfectly and answered soooooo many questions... thank you so much. Turned out to be in the powerby template which I skipped over I can't tell you how many times.
