Q and A add-on?

In a few stores I have seen a sort of Q&A section below the item description where visitors ask questions about the particular item, and the store owner responds. I have some complicated items and would really like to add something like this. At the same time I don't want to put that kind of hyper-detailed info into the regular product description, where it would get exported into Froogle and so on. I don't want to cannibalize the review features either (though it occured to me). I'd rather keep them separate and maybe add on BCE's review points module down the line.

Does this make sense the way I've explained it, and has anyone seen an add-on like this for x-cart?

Phil has some freebies on here that might help:
http://www.xcartmods.co.uk/#f4 - product enquiry form.
There's an FAQ manager too.

First of all Paul, thanks so much for pointing to that page. WOW. There's a lot of good stuff there, free and cheap. Appreciate it.

Nothing quite what I was hoping for for this project though. The product enquiry page is close except I'd want it to actually post to the page itself (I think -- for logged-in members maybe), and have a tool for posting my answer to the same page. The faq is a good idea, but I know my users will probably never read an faq that's not on the exact page they're looking at, or scroll down to find the question that pertains to them. I'm hoping to make it really easy for them.

Still I greatly appreciate the pointer to that site. I love the javascript for combining things like "reviews" and "related products" into tabs.

Maybe this is a custom programming job but I thought just maybe, something would be out there.

Thanks again ...
