changing meta tags on a manufacturer category
 

I've created a manufacturer category called "panorama antennas", and i've filled in the description on the page when I created this.

That bit works fine, but when looking at the html source of the web page I noticed the default x-cart gold meta tags are still in there.

How am I able to change these default tags for each manufacturer so my site looks alot more appealing to the search engines ?

X-Cart Details are as follows :
X-CART Version 4.0.18
MYSQL Ver: 4.1.22-standard

Your assistance is greatly appreciated if someone can fill me in on this annoying little quirk

You need to update your site meta tags in General Settings/SEO Options. If you want specific tags for each MFR, you'll need this:

The bcsengineering manufacturer mod does not work with x-cart version 4.16 to my knowledge.

I have looked over the code to add for this mod and many things have changed in the above mentioned version.

Is there an update for this of a different mod to use?

I'd ask BCS Engineering directly if they have updated the mod for 4.1. It should be very similar.
