Newsletter and Survey not showing up

I have enabled my news and survey module and I see the include files in my home.tpl however, they are do not show up when a user opens my site. I am attaching my home.tpl - does anyone have any ideas?

no - I have not created any news - I really did not any news to display I just want the signup.

I did create a survey which does not show up on my home page but does show up on the product detail pages.

In order for the news signup box to show up, you need some news to sign up for :)

Can't assist with the survey module as I have never used it.

I got the newsletter signup to show up by adding news as you suggested but it is only showing up on interior pages - not my home - do you know how to get it to show up on my home page? See attached jpg's

I'm not familiar with the Fashion Mosaic skin, but check the code in customer/home.tpl to make sure the news module is not coded to NOT show on the home page.
