Where to add text to Todays_News?

Hi there, I was hoping to add a little blurb to my shop with my current promotional code. I thought the Todays_News template would be the right place to go. However, I'm unsure of exactly where to put the text I want to display. Thanks!

You create a new news item, and add news to it under the 'News Management' area.
