Different Background Colors in Menu Listings

I want to add different color in background of menu listing box - not a menu title box. How can I do that and which file I need to edit? Also what If I want to show border of menu when background is white for menu. I just want to try to see how colored menu title box and only border looks.

Colors are changed using admin. In "Edit Templates" you will see at the top a skin1.css colors are changed here. As for borders etc you would have to go to eavch block and manually make that change by adding a reference to VertMenuBorder color etc to get this right. Each block has its own and each will need to be chnaged. It is really easy once you do it the first time.
