Custom Status Notifications
 

Is there a way/module/mod out there that allows you to define as many types of order statuses as you want and create corresponding e-mail notification templates for each one? For example we have the following order statuses that when you change the order status to one of them, the customer automatically gets a status change notification. In addition, you can enter a short message to be included with the notification, so if one item in an order is out of stock, you can type which item it is to be included with the backorder delay notification. Or if an item in their order was out of stock and then became discontinued by the vendor, you could put a note about that too. Lots of possiblities

Item On Backorder
Order Sent To Stockroom
Order Prepared for Shipment
Order shipped
Temporary Delay (other than Backorder)
Special Order
New Item Pre-order
Partial Ship
Credit Card Declined
Fraud Cancel
Cancel

Not all statuses generate a notification message. Guess this is probably going to be a custom mod for us.
