Hello,

Is it really necessary to show the shopping cart items and personal information all over again on the last step of the fastlane checkout process? It seems redundant to me. I was thinking of removing all this information to clean up that page.

Any suggestions?

Well, if you were the person shopping, wouldn't you want to verify everything before you hit the submit button? :)

I suppose, yes. It seems like having the credit card fields at the bottom of the page is a bit wrong. Do you think putting the CC fields at the top and maybe putting "Cart Items", "Personal Details", etc in a tab format (like on product details) under the CC area would be a good idea?

Also, does anyone have a different title for "Personal Details" on fastlane checkout. I think it reminds customers that it really is too personal to share and may prevent them from completing the checkout process.

I usually put the customer's billing/shipping info in a left hand column renamed to 'Billing/Shipping Info' (along with a shipping selector), show an abbreviated cart display at the top, and the credit card form below that. Keeps it on one page without scrolling.
