Changing background colour of Label Dialog Edit window
 

Hi Everyone,

Which template do I edit to change the background colour of the Label Dialog Edit window (with the save, copy, preview and cancel icons). I haven't managed to find the page with the actual background colour value yet.

i believe that that would be an image file.

I'm not looking to change the icons (which are indeed gifs), but the page background colour.

If I view the page info of the label dialog window in Netscape, I can see that it mentions two pages: admin/editor_mode.php and admin/set_label.php - neither of which contain any code that relates to the background colour...

I am at this time currently looking for the exact same thing.

I also want to change the name from Label Dialog to somthing cooler.

All the look and feel stuff is handled by the templates files (.tpl's) or the style sheet.

I dont quite understand what you are looking to change though.

If you look at the page source you will find the html for the element that you are looking for and it may well have a style class assigned to it already. Change that in the skin1.css file and job done. :)

When in webmaster mode, if you click on a label to change it, the Label Dialog pops up. The default background colour for this dialog box is: #FFFBD3 - the same colour as the background colour of this forum page.

I want to change the colour to blue, as well as replace the icons with customised icons. If I right click on the Label Dialog and view source, I can see the html code there related to background colour, the names and location of the save, preview etc icons.

However, I can find no information about the name of the Label Dialog page whose source I am viewing, in order to change the html code. I can find no reference that gives me any clue which template to change here.

This is because the default background colour for DialogBox in skin1.css is set to that - change that value and your webmaster box should change colour.

The Dialog Box colour in my skin1.css is set to #FFFFFF white, but my Label Dialog box is still pale yellow.

I tried editing editor.js but nothing changed. The .js looked like the right files to edit. I even changed the words Label Dialog to somthing cooler.

But alas to no avail. The title shows up the same and the back ground color stays the same.

Its soooooo ugly as it is. I wish we could somehow find a way to modify this.
