CDSEO. Need help please.
[using x-cart 4.1.6]
Anyone get CDSEO to work? I install the files and all the initial work. Then I run the initial test file before I do the actual installation and the test file gives me a 500 error. I have followed the instructions word for word several times and I have plenty of programming experience. According to the documention a 500 error means my server does not meet the requirements, but it's the hosting company that WebsiteCM (creator of CDSEO) told me to us. Anyone have this similar problem? Thanks |
Re: CDSEO. Need help please.
First, you should open a ticket with the mod author. You paid for the software, so you get support with it.
Next, please update your signature with your X-Cart version, as each version is different and this information is key. Thanks! |
Re: CDSEO. Need help please.
Which 'signature' are you talking about? You mean the key that links this mod to my sites URL?

Re: CDSEO. Need help please.
Your forum signature. Click the User CP link at the top of the forum. You can find your version by clicking on the 'Summary' link in your X-Cart admin area. This has nothing to do with CDSEO, I'm simply asking you to update your forum signature per the forum rules.

Emerson at EWD Hosting provided the answer. These a good professional company that is quick to respond. I highly recommend them.
www.ewdhosting.com Here is the response that fixed my problem In the .htaccess file that comes with the demo look for the word: ForceType and change it to SetHandler |
