change gif to png
 

Hi yall, I wanted to change the go.gif to a go.png and so found the 'go_image.tpl' and replaced go.gif with go.png

but it wouldnt accept the change.

Ive looked at the class GoImage which doesnt seem to make any difference if it was a gif or a png.

Any thoughts on changing this horrid little gif to something much nicer looking?

By 'not accepting the change' do you mean the template didn't save or the image didn't display?

It says Operation Failed.... mmm... its my lack of knowledge that makes me think that this is something between smarty and css but Im thinking maybe its simpler.. maybe its a permissions thing...

any thoughts?

Ahhh...that is because the file has the incorrect permissions. You need to make that template writable via FTP or your control panel.
