updating checkout color scheme BUT...
 

I have a highly customized x-cart.
But it's not customized in the checkout section.
Is it possible for me to update the checkout color scheme?
will it ruin my customization at category & product pages?

What's the recommended way of approaching this?

Are you using Fast Lane Checkout?

Moving to Template Editing as I don't see what this has to do with shipping?

No, I am not using Fast Lane checkout.
I just checked... no check mark on that module.

By default, the checkout is the same template as the store unless you are using a checkout modification like Fast Lane Checkout or EZ Checkout. Sounds like you may have changed something that causes the checkout to display differently.

Oh, no.. nothing is different.

It's just my writing is bad :(

Currently I have a blue borders (color scheme) on checkout pages.
I want to update that color.
But, I want to check with the experts before I do that.

I used to go through the re-installation process and change color scheme.
Now, because this program is customized, I am afraid that might ruin all the customizations.

I want to know how I can update color scheme at checkout pages.
This color scheme no longer exist on product & category pages because of customization.

Ok, so you have changed the main section then. No, you definitely don't want to re-install the skin, as that will overwrite your customizations. You need to figure out how you have managed to change one without the other....I really can't offer you any specific advice as your store is obviously customized. Sorry :(
